Trenton Joe Vik, age 8, passed away on December 24, 2020 . Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at Alcester Baptist Church.  Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00PM on Wednesday, December 30 at Alcester Baptist Church with a 7:30 PM Prayer Service.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Trenton's family.  Services will be livestreamed on the Facebook page of Alcester Baptist Church.

Trenton was born July 20, 2012 in Sioux Falls, SD to William Vik and Christin Awalt.  He grew up in Alcester and was currently in the 2 ^nd grade at Alcester Elementary.

Trenton was always busy.  He loved being outdoors and getting dirty; whether mowing the lawn, following his Dad around, or helping a neighbor work on anything, he was always wanting to help out.  He was especially outgoing and social and wanted to be around people.  He often followed his Dad to work or would tag along to the Anderson farm every chance he got.

Trenton is survived by his Mom and Dad, William and Christin; his big sisters, Madalyn and Jona VanDusen; his grandparents, Joe and Sue Vik, Sioux Falls, SD; great-grandfather, Bill Allen, Beresford, SD; uncles, Dustin Vik and his wife, Bradie, Akron, IA and Colton Vik, Alcester, SD; and his aunts, Melissa and Ashlee Awalt, both of Georgia.  He was preceded in death by his grandpa, Roy Awalt and his grandma, Karen Bennet.
