Major Terry S Bakke was born February 2 ^nd 1956 and passed away on February 3 ^rd 2023, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Terry was eldest of 7 children: brothers Ronald (Mary), Michael (Beverly), Timothy (Allison) and Dan (Serena) Bakke; sisters Beth (Reed) Haug and Kathy (Rick) Wolfe.

He graduated from Washington High School, in Sioux Falls.

On July 5th, 1976, he married the love of his life, Lorri Lovell. To this union, two children were born: Sarah (Derek) Barton and Eric Bakke and two grandchildren were born: Tristyn and Ella Barton.

Terry lived from coast to coast, residing all over the US, following his career with the military and then the Federal Bureau of Prisons, as a Health Systems Administrator. He retired early, settling in Centerville, South Dakota.

Terry is preceded in death by his mother, Dalene Bakke.
