Sandra Marie Crissey Voss was born August 4, 1946 in Storm Lake, IA to parents Cletus and Hannah (Soenksen) Crissey. She died April 22, 2010 at Prairie Lakes Hospital in Watertown, SD at the age of 63 years, 8 months and 18 days.

Sandra attended Hayes Elementary in Storm Lake, IA, middle school in Denison, IA and graduated from Beresford High School in 1964. She married Ronald Voss on December 31, 1964. To this union were born three daughters, Veronica Jean, Melissa Ranee, and Rebecca Lynn. Sandra went back to school and graduated from the University of South Dakota in 1992 with a degree in nursing.

Sandra loved her daughters and grandchildren. She enjoyed horses and riding in the Black Hills. Her other hobbies and interests included antiques, decorating and sewing.

She is survived by her three daughters, Veronica Iverson and husband Dane of Larkspur, CO and their children, Stephen, Katie, Andrew, and Libby; Melissa Bowar and husband Pat of San Antonio, TX and their children, Nick and Becca; and Rebecca Weber of San Antonio, TX and her children, Madeline, Mac, and Landon; two sisters, Patricia Young and husband Bill of New Auburn , WI and Jacque Thormodsgaard and husband Lee of Alcester, SD; half sister LaVeda Deon Dose of Mapelton, IA; special cousins, Craig Soenksen and wife Mary of Spartanburg, SC and Byron Shewman of California; and many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a sister Sherron Skaggs and a brother Marlyn Crissey.

A memorial visitation will be held Friday, June 11 from 5PM to 8PM with family present from 6PM to 8PM at Wass Funeral Home in Beresford.
