Rowdy Lee Orlando Harvey was born on March 22, 1995 in Canton, South Dakota. He entered into rest on October 3, 2021.
Rowdy attended McCrossen Boys Ranch in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. He graduated in 2014. He then attended Southeast Technical College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota studying HVAC. Rowdy was employed at Elite Heating and Cooling located in Wahpeton, North Dakota.
Rowdy was blessed with three children whom he adored; Abigail (5), Tuff (4), and Mattie Mae (would be 19 months). His children were the loves of his life. His girls are his princesses and Tuff is his mini me. Rowdy constantly showered them with hugs and kisses. He was so proud of his children and loved all of the artwork they would bring him from school.
Rowdy had planned to start his own restoration/fabrication business that was to be named in honor of his daughter, Mattie Mae. He was always searching to enhance his knowledge about everything. He was constantly researching to learn new things. Rowdy was well known for his dad jokes and antagonizing his sisters. His goal each day was to make everyone smile. Rowdy will always be remembered as an amazing father, son, grandson, nephew, and cousin. His beautiful smile and dimples will live on forever in the memories of everyone who knew him.
Rowdy is survived by his children, Abigail Harvey and Tuff Harvey of Campbell, MN; his parents, Mother Cynthia and Step-father Brocko Lorenzetti of Campbell, MN; Father Joshua and Step-mother Lisa Harvey of Alcester, SD; his brothers, Dakota Harvey of Doran, MN and Damon Hedtke of Campbell, MN; sisters, Avery Hongslo of Alcester, SD, Hailey Harvey of Campbell, MN, and Olivia Hedtke of Campbell, MN; stepbrothers, Jacob and Anthony Lorenzetti of Fargo, ND; stepsisters, Marissa Lorenzetti of Fargo, ND and Tionna Gordon Alcester, SD; Grandparents Kathy Wilke, Donny March, Carol Weyer, Larry Harvey, and Shari Harvey. Rowdy was preceded in death by his daughter, Mattie Mae Harvey; Grandfather Wayne Forrest Overhulser, Nick Weyer; Uncle Richard Mulder; Great-Grandparents Myrtle Mae Harvey, Glen Harvey, Evelyn Fleming, Thomas Fleming, Ann Talbott, Clarence Talbott, Mary Ann McQuillin and Wayne Virgil Overhulser.
Funeral services for Rowdy will be 2PM Sunday, October 10, 2021 at Wass Funeral Chapel in Alcester; visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the chapel.
