Obituary
Roger William Neuroth was born December 11, 1959 in Canton, SD to Leonard and Dixie (Warner) Neuroth. He went to be with our Lord May 23, 2009 in Brookings, SD at the age of 49 years, five months and 12 days.
Roger went to live at the Custer State Hospital in October of 1970 at the age of 11. He remained there until June of 1995 when he went to Advance in Brookings. Roger lived at 509 in the Advance establishment where he was very well cared for and greatly loved by the staff. They were his guardian angels.
Roger liked listening to country music and going to concerts. He enjoyed attending church services.
His father, Leonard and maternal and paternal grandparents preceded him in death.
Roger is survived by his parents Dixie and Ted Thompson of Beresford; brother, Leonard Jr. and Lila Neuroth of Beresford; three nieces; three great-nieces and a host of relatives.
Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 26, 2009 at St. Johns Catholic Cemetery in Beresford, SD.
