Obituary

Robert Greguson was born November 10, 1928 in Lake Andes, SD to Svere and Angeline (Graham) Greguson. He died May 6, 2014 in Sioux Falls, SD at the age of 85 years and five months. Bob attended school in Lake Andes and also worked on construction of Fort Randall Dam in Pickstown, SD. He met the love of his life, Dolores Schroeder, and they were married October 7, 1949. They lived in Platte, Gayville, Elk Point, and finally settled in Centerville to raise their family of three boys. Bob was a natural born salesman and worked for many years as a milkman in the Centerville area. In later years he operated an independent insurance agency until his retirement in 1997. He enjoyed being with his family and friends, playing pool, golf and cards. He was a member of the United Church of Christ, a volunteer on the Centerville Fire Department and an early member of the Centerville Ambulance Association. He is survived by his wife, Dolores; sons, Mark (Connie) of Chester, SD, Paul (Linda) of Brookings, SD and Todd (Barb) of Rochester, MN; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two brothers-in-law, George (Arlene) Schroeder of Geddes, SD and Delton (Joyce) Schroeder of Emerson, IA. His parents, three brothers and three sisters preceded him in death. Funeral services will be 2PM Friday, May 9, 2014 at Centerville United Church of Christ with burial to follow at Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-8PM Thursday at Wass Funeral Home in Centerville with the family present from 6-8PM.
