Randy Schoellerman was born October 15, 1960 in Hudson, South Dakota to Howard and Jule (Pliska) Schoellerman. He died unexpectedly September 13, 2022 at his home in rural Alcester at the age of 61 years, 10 months and 28 days.

He was raised on the family farm and attended school, graduating from Alcester-Hudson High School. Randy attended Lake Area Technical School in Watertown where he received his degree in civil engineering. He worked as a land surveyor for his career, working in SD, IA, NE and ND.

Randy was very mechanically inclined, he liked to tinker on his cars at an early age and he also enjoyed fishing.

Surviving him are his three daughters, Hillary (Chad) Andrews of Beresford, Whitney (Derek) Ventrone of Cranston, RI, and Erin (fiancé Collin Zwart) Schoellerman of Miller, SD; one son, John (Veronica Witts) Schoellerman of Beresford; three grandchildren, Carilee, Oakleigh and Ellie; parents, Howard (Jule) Schoellerman; brother, Kevin (Julie) Schoellerman of Sioux Falls and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 3PM Sunday, Sept. 18, 2022 at Wass Funeral Chapel in Alcester. Visitation with the family present will be 5-7PM Saturday at Wass Funeral Chapel.
