Ralph Boswell, 93, of Beresford, SD died July 7, 2010 at Sunset Manor in Irene, SD. Following Ralphs wishes, there are no funeral services planned at this time.

Ralph was born April 4, 1917 in Castlewood, SD to Albert and Flora (Watson) Boswell. He graduated from high school and worked for Lockheed aircraft manufacturing in California during WWII. He married Lillian Strait January 3, 1942 in California. They returned to Castlewood, SD in 1944 and Ralph farmed with his father-in-law.

Ralph worked with the South Dakota Highway Department for 36 years, retiring as district superintendent. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting and fishing, more recently he liked woodworking and playing Bingo. Lillian died September 10, 2008.

He is survived by two daughters, Dr. Garry Boswell and Judy Ann Boswell both of Beresford, SD; and a large extended family. His wife; parents; three brothers, Harry, Robert and George; and sister, Flora preceded him in death.
