Phyllis Jean (Williamson) Ebsen passed away Thursday May 26th 2022 at Centerville Care and Rehab Center in Centerville, SD at the age of 60. Phyllis Williamson was born April 16, 1962 in Hudson, SD to Herman and Theodora (Gerritsen) Williamson. She attended Centerville High School later receiving her GED. She worked at Centerville Good Samaritan, later cleaning hotels in Vermillion, SD and eventually becoming a homemaker once her health declined.  Phyllis was a member of Scandia Lutheran Church where she was baptized and confirmed. She met and married the love of her life Rick Ebsen and becoming a member of First Baptist in Vermillion, SD.

Rick and Phyllis made their home in Meckling and Vermillion, SD until Phyllis's health brought her to CCRC.

Phyllis loved her family and friends, enjoyed playing bingo, watching Wheel of Fortune, singing Karaoke, was an avid Minnesota Vikings fan and could be seen on game days in her Thielen Jersey.  Holidays especially Christmas, 4th of July and Halloween were her favorites.  Missing a family reunion was not thought of. She always had fun making snacks and loved when family or friends came over to share them.  She was never seen without a Mountain Dew in hand. She enjoyed the little things and a simple life and her biggest joys were her husband, Rick, daughter, Ann and her cat, Jingles.

Phyllis is survived by daughter Ann of Centerville, SD; brother, Garold (Louise) Williamson of Centerville, SD; brother-in-law, Steve (Helen) Ebsen of Sioux City, IA; sister-in-law, Valerie (John) Zweifel of Beresford, SD; step-mother-in-law Mardell "Toots" Husby-Ebsen of Vermillion, SD, and many beloved nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Her parents, Herman and Theodora "Teddy" Williamson; husband, Rick Ebsen, and her father-in-law, Wayne Ebsen, preceded her in death.

The celebration of life will be held at Scandia Lutheran Church in Centerville, SD on Saturday, June 11th, 2022 at 11:00AM. Services will be lived streamed on Scandia Facebook then published on the church website at www.scandialutheran.com.
