Paul Harold Rowley was born September 20, 1942 in Aberdeen, SD to parents Charles and Margaret (Robinson) Rowley. He died September 3, 2012 at his residence in Sioux Falls, SD at the age of 69. Paul graduated from Sioux Falls Washington High School and the University of South Dakota. He married Carol Macheak in 1963. He later married Sherry Brown in 1987. He was the purchasing agent for Bethlehem Steel Corporation in Gary, IN. and also Bendix, in South Bend, Indiana. He later moved to Lake Charles, LA where he became the purchasing manager for Olin Chemical. He was a director for River Park Treatment Center and the Administrator of Beatrice Manor in Nebraska. He was an avid reader and fisherman. He loved hunting and spent his retirement in Sioux Falls riding his motorcycle and woodworking. Paul was the secretary for the Minnehaha County Historical Society. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Michael, and a sister Beverly. Survivors include his wife Sherry Rowley of Sioux Falls; two sons, Jim Rowley and wife Heidi of Baton Rouge, LA and John Rowley of Scottsdale, AZ; two step-children, Jeff Brown and wife Shelley of Alcester and Jennifer Ehde and husband Tim of Edina, MN; 7 grandchildren; two brothers: Tom Rowley and wife Lorretta of Tucson, AZ and Charles Rowley and wife Carol of Andover, MN; two sisters, Barbara Feilmeier and husband Leon of Mitchell, SD and Helen Martinson of Sioux Falls, SD; and many other relatives and friends. Private family services are being held in Alcester, SD.
