Patrick A. Kieffer was born July 31, 1963 in Chicago, IL to parents Richard and Diana (DuBois) Kieffer. Patrick went home to be with the Lord on April 22, 2008 at the age of 44 years, 8 months and 21 days. Patrick attended school in Centerville and moved to Sioux Falls to work at Litton Industries. He met Diane Johnson in 1984 and married in May of 1986. In 1987 they moved to Illinois and in June of 1991 they had one daughter, Stephanie. In 1991 they moved back to Centerville and Pat worked at Tendaire in Beresford and later worked at Showplace also in Beresford. For the past few years Patrick drove over the road for Northland Trucking in Sioux Falls. Patrick enjoyed the outdoors, especially spending summer afternoons fishing and doing yardwork at his moms. He was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed supporting his favorite driver, Jimmy Johnson. Patrick in survived by his mother Diana Wheatley of Centerville; daughter Stephanie Kieffer of Centerville; two brothers: Michael of Colorado and David of Sioux Falls; sister Darla (Rusty) Underwood of Centerville and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his stepfather and maternal and paternal grandparents. Funeral services will be 1:00PM, Saturday, April 26, 2008 at Federated United Church of Christ in Centerville with burial to follow at Riverview Cemetery, rural Centerville. Visitation with family present will be Friday from 6PM to 8PM at Wass Funeral Home in Centerville.
