Patricia Joann Moerke was born May 22, 1956 in Sioux Falls , SD to Harm and Isabell (Winterboer) Moerke. She died December 29, 2012 at her home in Beresford following a six year battle with cancer at the age of 56 years, seven months and seven days. Pat lived in California and Rapid City before returning with her family to Beresford. She attended and graduated from Beresford High School . Pat married Dean Adams April 22, 1974 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church . Pat worked as a breakfast cook at Truck Towne in Beresford. That job began her career in the restaurant industry which included several businesses in Sioux Falls including Ground Round. She enjoyed making stain glass and canning with her friends. She had a wonderful sense of humor and a quick wit. Pat loved spending as much time as she could with her three grandsons, Jace, Alex and Greyson. Grateful for having shared her life is her husband, Dean Adams of Beresford; son, Jeramie Adams and his wife, Kristi of Beresford; and her grandsons, Jace, age five, Alex, three, and Greyson, one. She is also survived by many special friends including Kathy Moller, Deb Beres, Pam Hein, Susan Duprat and Renee Bagneschi. Her parents, Harm and Isabell, and sister, Debbie Moerke preceded her in death. Memorial services will be 7PM Thursday, January 3, 2013 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Beresford with the family present from 5-7PM.
