Maurine Y. Heiser, 75, formerly of Beresford, SD, died Tuesday, May 21, 2019 in Coeur d'Alene, ID.  Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, May 31 at Wass Funeral Home in Beresford, SD.  Visitation will begin one hour prior to services.  Maurine will be buried at Roseni Lutheran Cemetery.

Maurine Anderson was born June 1, 1943 in Union County, SD to Arnold and Frances (Christianson) Anderson. She grew up in Beresford.  She married Harold Heiser in 1976 in Hayward, CA.  She enjoyed moving to new locations and meeting new people.

Maurine was an active church member, devoting much of her time and energies to her church.  She enjoyed quilting, keeping her photo albums and was an excellent cook and baker.  She was a member of the Red Hat Society.  She looked forward to spending time with her family, her friends and her beloved cat, Amos.

Maurine is survived by her sons, Greg Silva, Volga, SD and Joseph (Jeannette) Silva, Sun Valley, NV; her grandchildren, Levi Silva, Natalie (Austin) Donley, Anthony (Sarah) Silva and Anna Silva; great-grandchildren, Hope Silva, Tate Silva, Kai Silva and Cayli Silva; special step-grandchildren step great-grandchildren; her brother, Leland (Sandra) Anderson, Modesto, CA and her sister, Joan (Donald) Fickbohm, Sioux Falls, SD.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; parents, Arnold and Frances Anderson; and her siblings, Shernold Anderson, Clinton Anderson, Verlyn Eckert and Eileen Grieb.
