Mary C. Hulse, 70, of Murphy, NC, passed away suddenly on Monday, October 2, 2017.  Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Wass Funeral Home in Beresford, SD with visitation one hour prior to services.

A memorial service will also be held at 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 14, 2017 at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church in Morganton, GA.

Mary spent most of her life in South Sioux City, NE and then moved to Murphy, NC.  She graduated from South Sioux City High School and the University of South Dakota in Vermillion.  She worked for Sioux Tools until she retired.  She was active in the Master Gardener program and the Lutheran Church.  Mary also enjoyed painting and genealogy.

She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen Robinson, Spartanburg, SC and Anne Hulse and her husband, Nour, Knoxville, TN; granddaughter, Annabelle Hulse; her sister, Jayne Wessels and her husband, Wayne, Centerville, SD; many nieces, nephews and cousins; and many dear friends.
