Marjorie L. Eggleston 75 of Glen Carbon passed from this life on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 at her home. Marjorie was born on July 8, 1935 in Alcester, SD to Henry & Mabel (Swanson) Lind. She was a longtime homemaker and a teacher. She will be dearly missed by her husband, Rollin, whom she married on June 23, 1957 in Alcester, SD; 2 daughters, Oanh Eggleston of Alexander, VA, April & (Tony) Luttrell of Salem, WI; son, Alden & (Alison) Eggleston of Creve Coeur, MO; brother, Lauren & ( Susan) Lind of Rangeley, ME; 3 grandchildren, Roxanne A. Luttrell, Rollin D. & Madison L. Eggleston. She was preceded in death by 2 infant children, Andrew & Angela; brother, Robert Lind; 2 sisters, Marilyn Feuerbacher, Janice Poindexter and her parents.

Friends may call on Sunday, September 12, 2010 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Irwin Chapel, 591 Glen Crossing Road in Glen Carbon. A visitation will continue at Wass Funeral Home in Alcester, SD on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. A celebration of her life will be on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at Nathaniel Lutheran Church in Alcester, SD. Burial will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to the National Crones & Colitis Foundation.
