Mary Marjorie Christensen was born September 27, 1923 in Wakonda, SD to parents Stanley and Rose (Cranny) Anderson. She died March 14, 2007 at Avera McKennan Hospice in Sioux Falls, SD at the age of 83 years, 5 months and 17 days. Marj had two brothers and two sisters and lived on a farm near Irene, SD. After her children were in school Marj worked at Sunset Manor Nursing Home and then as a teachers aide in the Irene school, which she really enjoyed. Arnie died in 1986. Her sons and families are Jerry and Diane Moen of Sioux Falls, SD, Joe and Jonna Moen of Waseca, MN, and Dan and Ardis Moen of Aberdeen, SD. Russells son Bruce and wife Jana of Bozeman, MT, his daughter Pam of Sioux Falls, and Russells grandchildren, Anna, Sara, and Eric, and great grandchildren Noah and Ella are an important part of her family.
