Marilyn Lind Feuerbacher, age 69, of Alcester, SD died July 13, 2008 at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls. Memorial services will be held at 1PM on Saturday, November 1, 2008 at Nathanael Lutheran Church in Alcester. The family will be present Friday at 7PM at the church.

Marilyn Ruth Lind Feuerbacher was born January 27, 1939 on the family farm near Alcester, SD to parents Henry and Mabel (Swanson) Lind. She was baptized at the Dahlsburg parsonage and confirmed at Nathanael Lutheran Church. Marilyn attended Finn rural school and graduated from Alcester High School in 1957. She completed one year at the University of South Dakota in Vermillion.

Marilyn married August Feuerbacher in 1958 and her son, Auggie, was born in 1963. Marilyn was a dedicated mother to her son. She loved the Lord, her pets, flowers and her simple life. She was plagued with a series of medical problems. Even with her shrinking world, Marilyn remained cheerful and loving. She did not complain, rather she offered love and a sharp wit to those that entered her world. Marilyn is now with the Lord, in peace and comfort.

Survivors include sister, Marjorie (Rollin) Eggleston of Glen Carbon, IL; brother, Lauren (Sue) Lind of Rangeley, ME; sister-in-law, Ruth Lind of Alcester and nephew, Bill Lind of Alcester; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Preceding her in death were her parents; son, Auggie; sister, Janice Lind Poindexter; brother, Robert Lind; uncle, Clarence Lind and aunt, Alice Anderson.
