Funeral services for Linda Poll will be held at 10:00AM, Saturday, January 24 at the United Church of Christ in Centerville. Visitation will be Friday from 5PM to 8PM with family present from 7PM to 8PM with a prayer service at 7PM at the church. In lieu of flowers, Linda requests any memorials to the Centerville United Church of Christ Building Fund.

Linda Poll was born February 3, 1945 in Las Vegas, Nevada to parents Frank and Donna (Morton) Morrow, Sr. She died January 21, 2009 at her home in Centerville at the age of 63 years, 11 months and 18 days.

Linda was raised in Cherokee, Iowa and moved to Centerville, South Dakota in 1958. She met and married Don Poll in 1964. She and Don had two children, Ed and Becky. Linda was head cook for the Centerville Public School.

She was a member of the Centerville United Church of Christ. Linda was a deacon for years, active in the Ladies Aid and was the church historian.

Survivors include her husband Don Poll, Centerville; mother Donna Morrow, Larrabee, IA; son, Ed Poll and his wife, Angie of Centerville; daughter, Becky Irwin and her husband, Sam Jake of Vermillion; two grandchildren, Marisa Poll and Jenna Irwin; two brothers, Frank Morrow, Jr. and Ike Morrow; and four sisters, Cindy Strahman, Bonnie Lambert, Arvella Henderson and Cheryl Kramer. Also surviving are her church family and many nieces and nephews. Her father preceded her in death.
