Memorial services for Linda Kirk will be held 2PM, Friday, June 9 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Centerville. Linda Kirk was born December 29, 1947 in Sioux Falls, SD to parents Allen and Annabelle (Reese) Granum. She died June 7, 2006 at her home in rural Centerville, SD at the age of 58 years after a courageous battle with lung cancer. Linda graduated from Sioux Falls Washington High School. She married Dale Kirk on September 2, 1967. The couple lived on a farm in rural Centerville for most of her married life. Linda was employed at the Lennox Good Samaritan Center until March of 2006 when she retired due to her health. She was preceded in death by her father Allen Granum, her mother and father in-law Dallas and Clara Kirk and her sister-in-law Doris Kirk. Her survivors include her husband Dale of Centerville; mother Annabelle Granum of Sioux Falls; 3 children: Crystal Kuntz and husband Tom of Alexandria, VA, Cary Knudson, Centerville, and Tracy Kirk and wife Amy of Centerville; grandchildren: Patrick and Parker Kuntz, Dustin, Kelsey, Courtney, and Dallas Knudson and Ruby Kirk; 2 brothers: Jim Granum and wife Renae of Indianapolis, IN and Allen Granum, Jr. of Sioux Falls; 2 sisters: Barb Niemann of Bridgewater, SD and Kay (Bert) Schroeder of Sioux Falls; sister-in-law Arlene Lundquist and husband Ollie of Beresford; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
