Linda Twedt Husak, age 57, of Sioux Falls, South Dakota died March 20, 2007 at Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2007 at Brooklyn Evangelical Free Church, Beresford, South Dakota. Burial will follow at Brooklyn Cemetery, Beresford. Visitation will be held on Friday, March 23, 2007 from 2:008:00 p.m. at Wass Funeral Home in Beresford with the family present from 6:00- 8:00 p.m. Linda Twedt was born June 3, 1949 in Sioux Falls, SD to A. Donald and Marilynn (Norman) Twedt. She died March 20, 2007 in Sioux Falls at the age of 57 years, nine months and 17 days. Linda was raised and educated in Beresford, she graduated from Beresford High School in 1967. Linda graduated from Trinity College in Deerfield, Illinois in 1971 with a bachelors degree in English. She worked for many years with international students teaching English. Linda had a firm foundation of faith in Jesus Christ that guided her throughout her life. She married James Husak July 12, 1986. They lived in New Jersey and Virginia for 20 years prior to returning to Sioux Falls in 2006. Linda had a love for photography and traveling. She lived in Japan and visited China and numerous places in the world. Survivors include her husband, James Husak; one sister, Carol (Paul) Nelson of Woodbury, MN; one brother Randy (Jodi) Twedt of Brandon, SD; her step-mother, Lois Twedt of Sioux Falls; three nephews, Joel (Holly Grove) Twedt of Omaha, NE, Alex Twedt of Brandon, SD and Ryan Nelson of Woodbury, MN; one niece, Nicole Nelson of Bakersfield, CA; one great-niece, Malaysia Twedt; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
