Obituary

Lilly was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran Church. She attended grade school and high school and went on to college to become a rural school teacher. Lilly taught for seven years and enjoyed teaching very much.

She married Owen Quall of Alcester, they shared 62 years together. They were members of Roseni Lutheran Church. After they moved to Alcester they joined Peace Lutheran Church where she liked working with the Ladies Aid.

Lilly was blessed with three children, Marlene Johnson of Sioux Falls, Marlys Bonynge and her husband, Bradley of Sioux Falls, SD and Ronald Quall of Sioux City, IA, 11 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and two step great-grandchildren.

Her parents, three brothers, one sister, son-in-law, Leon Johnson, her husband, Owen, granddaughter, Lisa Bonynge and great-grandson, Joseph Renner preceded her in death.

Lilly stressed getting her children to Sunday school and to their piano lessons. As for Sunday school, they tried for perfect attendance, but for the miles and winter storms only the youngest attained the perfect attendance mark his last year of Sunday school.

She made many stuffed animals for her grandchildren and enjoyed her flowers and gardening.
