Larry E. Pearson was born February 18, 1932 in Alcester, SD to parents Lawrence and Elsie (Edlund) Pearson. He died July 31, 2016 at Alcester Care Center at the age of 84 years.

Larry attended Alcester High School. He then began working with his father working on semi trucks in Sioux City, IA. Larry married Jo Ann Will on June 12, 1954. The couple lived in Sioux City until Larry retired and then moved to Nevada. They moved to Alcester in 2000 and have lived here until the present time.

Larry attended Alcester Baptist Church. His hobbies and interests included boating and traveling in his R.V. with his wife Jo Ann.

His survivors are his wife Jo Ann Pearson of Alcester, SD; his brother Ronald and his wife Virginia of Texas; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Howard.
