Kimberly Kae Lounsbery was born September 27, 1968 to Dennis and Cheryl (Peterson) Lounsbery in Sioux Falls, SD. She grew up in Beresford, SD and attended Beresford schools, graduating in 1986. She was involved in basketball, band, and her church, Beresford Zion United Methodist Church. She attended Huron College on a basketball scholarship and was recruited to play volleyball. She graduated with a travel degree. She then attended National American University. She worked as a nanny in New York during the summer of 1987. Kim was a big sister to Shana, Michael and Justin and sisters-in-law to Amanda and Vanessa. She dearly loved her nieces and nephews and looked forward to spoiling them every chance she could. She tried to attend all their events. If she couldn't make it, then she would request to have it on Facebook Live or watch it online, if it was available. She was blessed to be a godmother to Allison Jean. She enjoyed traveling, camping, and she loved to help on the farm. She was a go-getter and loved to keep her world organized.
