Kathy Sue Muller was born on February 14, 1956 in Hawarden, Iowa to Albert and Rosa (DeRemer) Muller. She died June 14, 2025 in the hospital at Canton, South Dakota at the age 69 years.

She was raised on a farm near Hudson, SD and graduated from Alcester High School in 1974. Kathy married Jeff Hedeen in 1975 and they had one child, Rachel Hedeen. She worked various factory jobs through the years and retired in 2021 from Adam's Thermal Systems in Canton SD.

In 1998, she married Chuck Henning and they made home in Alcester, SD.

After retirement you could find Kathy at most of her grandkids school activities over the years. Kathy will be remembered as a cat lover; everywhere you would look there would be a cat by her or somewhere close by. She loved spending time with her family and playing games on her phone.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Rosa Muller; and grandparents, Robert and Una DeRemer and Henry and Lily Muller.

Grateful to have shared her life is her daughter, Rachel (James) Kroll of Beresford, SD; three grandkids, Gavin Kroll (Haylee Pearson) of Sioux Falls, Mason and Adrianne "Lady Bug" of Beresford, SD; three nephews Adam (Kerri) Muller of AZ, Roy Muller and Nathan (Baily) Muller of Mosher, SD; a niece, Mindee Muller of Sioux Falls; and two great-nieces, Dalana Jo  Winkel (Aaron) Brown and Elaina; and many other great-nieces and nephews; and her brother, Doug (Tina) Muller of Mosher, SD.

Private family services will be held.
