Funeral services for Kathaleen 'Dollie' Holmberg will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Centerville with burial at Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at the church with a wake service at 7:00 p.m.

Kathaleen 'Dollie' Logue was born September 22, 1916 in rural Centerville, SD to parents Daniel and Catharine (Kilbride) Logue.  She died November 23, 2008 at Pioneer Memorial Hospital in Viborg, SD at the age of 92 years, two months and 1 day.

Dollie attended school in Wakonda and graduated from Centerville High School.  She married Harold Holmberg on February 11, 1938 at the Mother of Mercy Catholic Church in Centerville.  They farmed in the rural Centerville area. From this union, one daughter, S. Kay was born.

Dollie was a member of the Good Shepherd Catholic Church where she was very involved and the Catholic Daughters of America.  Dollie was an Avon representative for over 40 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold; daughter, S. Kay Hand; four brothers, Daniel, Cletus, Victor and Glen; two sisters, Bessie Kuck and Florence Baumberger; and one granddaughter, Emily Erickson.

Grateful to have shared her life are her step- daughter, Patricia Weeks and husband Harrison of Beresford; son-in-law, Doug Hand of Dayton, Ohio; nine grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
