Judy Marie Keiser, age 74, of Alcester, South Dakota, passed away on October 7 2025 after a lengthy battle with cancer. She was born on August 21, 1951, in Canton, South Dakota, to John and Myrtle Naglestad. Judy grew up in Canton and attended Canton School. She was the youngest of three children, with two brothers, Richard and her twin. Joel. who arrived five minutes before her.

On August 29, 1969, Judy married the love of her life, Curtis Keiser. Together they made their home in the Alcester area and were blessed with three sons: Scott, Jeffery, and Michael. Judy was a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker. She worked alongside her family on Keiser Dairy for many years, where her hard work and dedication helped shape the family farm.

In later years. Judy especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, Ryan, Alyssa, and Ivy, who brought her great pride and joy. She had a deep love for animals and shared her home with many beloved pets throughout her life, including her favorite cat, Fluffy.

Grateful for having shared her life are her husband, Curtis Keiser; her sons, Scott Keiser of Rapid City, Jeffery Keiser of Beresford, and Mike (Tena) Keiser of Alcester; three grandchildren, Ryan Keiser of Alcester, Alyssa Keiser of Tea, and Ivy Keiser of Beresford; and two brothers, Joel Naglestad of Harrisburg and Richard Naglestad of Louisville, Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Myrtle Naglestad.

Judy will be remembered for her kindness, her dedication to family, and her gentle spirit. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

A celebration of life open house will be held on Sunday, November 30, 2025 at the Wass Funeral Chapel in Alcester from 2-4pm.
