Jennifer Renae Klarenbeek Weiland was born December 25, 1983 in Rock Valley, IA to parents Douglas and Kathy (Wissink) Klarenbeek. She died November 15, 2013 near Alcester, SD as the result of a motor vehicle accident. Jen attended Rock Valley Christian grade school, graduated from Hull Western Christian High School in 2002 and went on to receive her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Development from Killian Community College in Sioux Falls. Jen married Brian Weiland on September 19, 2008. The couple made their home in Beresford, SD. She worked at Day Care Centers in Sioux Falls, at Little Hands Day Care and Pre-School in Hudson, SD and was currently working with her mom, dad and brother in the family business at Hudson Meat and Sausage. Jen was baptized at Inwood Reformed Church, was a member of Calvin Christian Reformed Church in Rock Valley and was currently a member of the Beresford Zion United Methodist Church. Jen's passion in life was family and her faith in God. She was the mother to three precious girls, Jalyn, Josie and Jordy. She loved to take her girls swimming, riding bikes and enjoyed camping with the whole family and sitting by the campfire. She read to them every night and loved them as only a mother loves. Time with her husband Brian was deeply cherished as well. She started working at her parent's business this past year and grew even closer to them and her sisters and brother. Her life was defined by her relationships with the many she loved and the many that loved her. God bless Jen's memory to us all. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Barbara Wissink. She is survived by her husband Brian and their daughters, Jalyn-5yrs, Josie-3yrs, and Jordy-1yr, all of Beresford, SD; parents Douglas and Kathy Klarenbeek, Hudson, SD; maternal grandparents, Richard (Linda) Wissink, Rock Valley, IA, paternal grandparents, Clarence and Mary Ann Klarenbeek, Rock Valley, IA; sisters, Kadee (boyfriend Jaron VanBeek) and Shayla of Hudson, SD; brother Bradey (fiancé Jenna Warnke), Fairview, SD; mother-in-law Jane (Dan) Waterman, Hawarden, IA, father-in-law Joe Weiland, Sturgis, SD; sisters-in-law Becky (Dustin) Sohl, Hudson, SD, Sadie Davis, Hawarden, IA, and Sophie Jurrens, Hawarden, IA, brother-in-law Joey Weiland, Sturgis, SD; and nieces and nephew Lane and Leigha Sohl and Kinlee Jurrens; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Beresford Zion United Methodist Church. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6PM to 8PM at the church.
