Obituary

Jane A. Mohr was born April 16, 1934 in Valley City, ND to parents John and Mildred Anderson. She died November 13, 2012 at Bethesda Nursing Home in Beresford, SD at the age of 78. Jane graduated from high school in 1952 and attended Nursing school. She married Percy Mohr on October 10, 1953. The couple moved to Beresford in July of 1966. Jane worked at Mac's Café, Truck Towne Café and Conklin's Family Restaurant. She retired in 1994 and continued to reside in Beresford until the present time. Jane was a member of the Beresford Zion United Methodist Church and the Beresford VFW Auxiliary. She enjoyed traveling, playing cards, and most of all loved to spend time with her family, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband Percy, Beresford; two daughters, Deb (Mike) Conklin and Sandy (Wayne) Johnson all of Beresford; two sons, Mike (Mary) of Beresford and David (June), London, OH; 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren with twin great grandchildren expected in March; her brother Art (Ione) Anderson; and many other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM, Friday, November 16 at Beresford Zion United Methodist Church with burial to follow at the Beresford Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 5PM to 8PM with family present from 6PM to 8PM at Wass Funeral Home in Beresford. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Bethesda Nursing Home or Sanford Hospice, Vermillion.
