James Richard Reiners was born July 28, 1940 to Otto and Frances (Hankins) Reiners in South Dakota. He died April 16, 2014 at his home in Centerville at the age of 73 years, eight months and 18 days. Jim was raised and attended school in Centerville. In his youth he liked to roller skate and later he loved to drive the convertible car he bought. Jim married Lois Jacobson in September 1973. They lived in Centerville where Jim worked for many years at the Centerville Bowling Alley. Following Lois' death in 2001, Jim continued to reside in Centerville. Survivors include his two brothers, Gene Reiners of Centerville and Robert Reiners of Hartford; two sisters, Sharon (Jim) Smidt of Freeman and Norma Friedrichs of Centerville; and several nieces and nephews. His parents and wife preceded him in death. Memorial services will be 2PM Saturday, May 3, 2014 at Wass Funeral Home in Centerville.
