Jacklynn Elizabeth Oldham O'Connell was born July 30, 1953 to Luke E. and Ada E. (Johnson) Oldham in Amarillo, Texas. She died at Avera Heart Hospital on January 17, 2022 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota at the age of 68 years, five months and 17 days.

Jackie was raised in Texas where she graduated high school and attended college. She married Robert "Bob" O'Connell January 12, 1989. They moved to Beresford in 2004. Jackie worked in accounts receivable at Southeast Farmers Coop in Beresford and later at their new elevator near Spink, SD. She and Bob liked to spend time together fishing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Luke and Ada Oldham; her son, R. B. Toft; two brothers, Luke E. Oldham, Jr. and Leslie L. Oldham; a sister, Judy McDonald and her mother-in-law, Janet O'Connell Green.

She is survived by her husband, Bob O'Connell of Beresford; siblings, Wesley (Renee) Oldham of Sioux Falls, Sharon Ford of Seymour, TX and Thomas Oldham of Amarillo. Also surviving are two brothers-in-law, Dennis (Jennifer) O'Connell of Beresford and Phil O'Connell of Foreston, MN; two sisters-in-law, Christi Gant of Omaha, NE and Carol (Steve) Sommervold of Alcester, SD; many cousins, nieces, nephews and her many friends.

Memorial services will be 10AM Friday, January 21, 2022 at Wass Funeral Home in Beresford, SD.
