Hazel A. Christofferson, 89, died Monday, March 30, 2020 at Centerville Care & Rehab.  Due to the COVID-19 related gathering restrictions, Hazel's family will have a private burial now and will host a celebration of life service at a later date to properly celebrate her life with her family and friends. Hazel's family requests memorials be directed to Scandia Lutheran Church or to Centerville Care & Rehab.

Hazel is survived by her 3 sons, Mark, Paul and Philip; 2 sisters, Ardis Johnson, Beresford, SD and Carol Brende, Lennox, SD; sister-in-law, Violet Osthus, Sioux Falls, SD; and many beloved family members and friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold; her parents, Martin and Mabel; 2 brothers, Jim and Obed Osthus; and her sister, Maurine Miller.
