Geraldine "Jerry" Kjose, 83, of Alcester, SD, died Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Ava's Hospice House in Sioux Falls, SD, after a lengthy illness.  Due to the COVID-19 related gathering restrictions, Geraldine's family will hold private services in Alcester, SD with a public memorial service at a later date to properly celebrate her life with her family and friends.  Please watch our website for all updates.

Geraldine Sundleaf was born was born Feb 11, 1937 in Beresford, SD to Viktor and Goldie (Meavs) Sundleaf.  She attended Vermillion grade & high schools.  She married Eldean Kjose, on December 18, 1954.  They were an amazing support team to each other all throughout their married lives and they just celebrated their 65 ^th anniversary.

Jerry was a waitress at the Corner Café.  She worked at Custom Coils & the sewing factory.  She was a farm wife & mother.  She loved her family & never missed any activities that her two boys were in.  She loved Eldean's flower gardens.  Christmas, birthdays and any family gatherings were such a joy for her.

Geraldine is survived by her husband, Eldean; 2 sons, Michael (Jill) of Vermillion and Mitchell (Barb) of Sioux Falls; 4 grandchildren & 3 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, William Sundleaf and Leroy Sundleaf; and 3 sisters, Doris Kjose, Ardis Olson & Eilene Stene.
