Evelyn Erickson was born February 12, 1930 in Parkston, South Dakota to Edward and Elizabeth "Lena" (Thome) Peterson. She died November 23, 2022 in Canton, SD at the age of 92 years, nine months and 11 days.

She was a lifelong resident of Beresford where she attended school. Evelyn married Duane Erickson June 10, 1953 in Beresford.

She is survived by her son, Edward Erickson and his wife, Lisa of Bellflower, CA; grandson, James Erickson of Bellflower; granddaughter, Emily Lehnberg and her husband, Carl of Yorba Linda, CA; three great-grandchildren, Emma Erickson of Cypress, CA, Nolan and Gavin Lehnberg of Yorba Linda, CA. Evelyn was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Breanna Raelyn Erickson.

Memorial services will be 11AM Friday, November 25, 2022 at Wass Funeral Home in Beresford followed by a luncheon in the fellowship hall at Set Free Church in Beresford.
