Elna Marie Erickson, 96, passed away Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at Alcester Care and Rehab Center.  Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM Sunday, October 21 at Roseni Lutheran Church, rural Beresford, SD with visitation being held one hour prior to services at 1:30 PM.

Elna Lykken was born February 23, 1922 in Union county, SD, to Ole and Goldie (Newbold) Lykken.  She married Warren Solbue on February 14, 1942 at Roseni Lutheran Church.

Warren and Elna worked side by side on Warren's family's farm until 1989.  She enjoyed her farm life, where she cooked, crocheted and raised their children.  She also enjoyed getting away from the farm with traveling and camping.  She was a faithful and active life-long member of Roseni Lutheran Church.

Following the death of her husband, Warren, Elna married Cameron Erickson on May 30, 1998.  Cameron passed away in 2005.

Elna is survived by her daughters, Carole (Darrel) Sogn, Hudson, SD and Darla (David) Wommack, Sioux Falls, SD; 6 grandchildren, Tamara (Stuart) Hanson, Teresa Nygard, Darwin (Angela) Sogn, Cheryl (Marvin) Hall, Karen (Randy) Bethke, and Christine Schut; 15 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great grandchildren; her brother, Gene (Elsie) Lykken, Prescott, AZ; and her sisters, Betty Jamtgaard, Bonesteel, SD and Jeannette (Jerry) Ofstad, Rapid City, SD.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Warren Solbue and Cameron Erickson; an infant daughter, Nancy Lee; her parents, Ole and Goldie; and her brother, Melvin Lykken.
