Ella Lorraine Beeler, age 92, died March 5, 2016 at Alcester Care and Rehab. Funeral services will be 10:30AM on Thursday, March 10th at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Beresford, SD. Visitation will be from 5-8PM on Wednesday at Wass Funeral Home in Beresford with the family present from 5-7PM.

Ella was born to Robert and Grace (Sill) Skinner on November 1, 1923 in Alpena, SD. She died March 5, 2016 at Alcester Care and Rehab at the age of 92 years, 4 months and 4 days. Ella married Elden Beeler March 23, 1941 at his parent's home. Together they lived on a farm near Spink with the George Wallace Beeler family before moving to a farm nearby. Ella was a busy homemaker and mother raising their 15 children. She enjoyed embroidery, gardening and baking. Ella liked taking walks with her dog and walking stick. She also liked to paint and draw, read and do crossword puzzles and jigsaw puzzles.

Survivors include her 15 children, Judy (Vernon) Harms of Tea, Arlien (Lyle) Bauman of Brookings, Ardis (Gary) McDonald of Wilmot, Cathy (Ranier) Bohm of Ansbach, Germany, Jo Sakry and Francis "Skeeter" O'Neal of Garretson, Elden (Rhonda) Beeler, Jr. of Alcester, George (Darby) Beeler of Tea, Richard (Vicki) Beeler of Alcester, Dwight (Shanda) Beeler of Centerville, Pat (Scott) Mullinix of Hudson, Danette Mason of LeMars, John Beeler and Staci Mikkelson of Beresford, Charles Beeler of Beresford, Pam Davis and Brian Hinseth of Beresford, and Jim (Karen) Beeler of Elba, NE; 48 grandchildren, 79 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Her parents, husband, 12 brothers and sisters, and one grandson, Alan Kaden, preceded her in death.
