Ella Marie Bak was born October 17, 1944 in Centerville, SD to parents Henry and Anine (Mikkelsen) Bak. On October 20, 2012 Ella passed away from cancer of the esophagus. A memorial service was held on October 27, 2012 at Buck-Wheeler-Hyland Funeral Home in Belvedere, IL. Ella was born and raised in Centerville, SD. She was baptized and confirmed at Scandia Lutheran Church and graduated from Centerville High School. After graduation she worked at The Greenstamp Store in Sioux Falls, SD. She married Charles Olson on January 27, 1963. In 1966 they moved to Belvedere, IL and Ella began working for Automatic Electric in Genoa, IL. She was owner and operator of Mi Place Restaurant as well as worked at several other area restaurants. Ella & Wally were married on June 16, 2006 and enjoyed spending winters in Arizona. Ella enjoyed crocheting gifts for family & friends. We are blessed to have these treasured momentums. Her survivors include her husband Wally Anderson of Poplar Grove, IL; 3 sisters: Alice Sylliassen, Sioux Falls, SD, Darlene (Kenny) Munter, Buxton, ND & Ruth Ewoldt, Sioux Falls, SD; brother: Robert (Elsie) Bak, Pierre, SD; sister-in-law Elaine Bak, Wisner, Neb :nieces & nephews and many other relatives & friends. Her parents and her brother, Harland Bak preceded her in death. A memorial service will be held at 1PM on May 11, 2013 at Wass Funeral Home in Centerville.
