Donna L. Anderson, 81, died Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at her home in Beresford, SD.  A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, November 27 at Wass Funeral Home in Beresford, SD with visitation beginning one hour prior to the service.

Donna L. Anderson was born October 28, 1936 in Hawarden, IA to Leland and Margaret (Waddell) Anderson.  She grew up and lived in Hawarden with her parents and her sister, Kaye.  She met the love of her life, Robert D. Anderson in 1964.  They married February 27, 1965 and moved to Beresford, SD and raised their 4 children.

Donna worked at Otis Radio in Hawarden, IA and the Max Café.    She was a stay at home mom while her children were young, and then started working as a CNA at Bethesda Nursing Home for the next ten years until retirement.

Donna loved her family and spending time with them.  She and Bob spent a lot of time fishing and hunting together and she loved helping with his woodworking projects.   She enjoyed her garden and taking care of her flowers.

Donna is survived by her beloved husband, Robert D. Anderson, Beresford, SD; her children, Tina (Gary) Lorenson, Westfield, IA, Troy (Ann) Anderson, Windsor, CO, Kim (John) Limoges, Centerville, SD, and Jay (Jennifer) Anderson, Broomfield, CO;  7 grandchildren, Nick Lorenson, Chad (Mary Anne) Lorenson, Victoria (Max) Williams, Tyler Limoges, Gabrielle Limoges, Jackson Anderson and Noah Anderson; 1 great-grandson, Oliver Lorenson;  her sister, Kaye Giffen; her loving 4-legged companion, Sally Ann; several nieces and nephews; and many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leland and Margaret.
