Deborah Jean Bonte was born October 31, 1953 to Ben and Irene (Jordahl) Rinken in Spencer, Iowa. She died July 29, 2014 at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls at the age of 60 years. Growing up she lived in Watertown and Sisseton before her family settled in Garretson, SD. She graduated from Garretson High School before attending Yankton College. Deb worked a year at Graverson Photography then received her teaching degree from USD in Vermillion. She married Ken Bonte November 22, 1972.
