Craig T. Johnson was born September 8, 1953 in Sioux Falls, SD to parents Harris and Ruth (Klopstad) Johnson. He died April 14, 2006 at the age of 52 years, 7 months and 7 days. Craig attended North Star rural school and graduated from Beresford High School in 1972. He worked for Hudson Lean Pork for many years and several area farmers. He was a lifelong resident of the Beresford area. Craig was baptized and confirmed at Skrefsud Lutheran Church and was currently a member of Emmanuel Lutheran Church were he served as an usher. Among his hobbies and interests were going to farm sales and antique tractors. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, his mother Ruth and his brother-in-law Ben Huizar. Craig is survived by his father Harris Johnson of Beresford; brother Bruce Johnson and wife Anita of Beresford; sister Barb Huizar of Mesa, AZ; niece Jennifer Ellingson and husband Pat of Beresford; nephew Wade Johnson and wife Deb of Beresford; 4 great nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends. A memorial service will be held 10AM, Tuesday, April 18 at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Beresford, SD.
