Funeral services for Christal Larsen will be 1PM Sat. Aug. 22, 2009 at Wass Funeral Home in Centerville. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to services.
Christal May Larsen was born August 2, 1952 at Vermillion, South Dakota to parents Ray and Elaine (Larsen) Morrison. She died August 20, 2009 at Southridge Healthcare Center in Sioux Falls, SD at the age of 57 years and 18 days.
Christal grew up in Centerville where she lived with her grandmother, Margaret Larsen. She went to live with her parents in 1970. Christals mother died in 1994. She lived with her sister, Marjerie, in Brandon, SD until two years ago when she moved into Southridge. Christal enjoyed her writing and coloring and will always be remembered for the unconditional love she had for others.
Survivors include her father, Ray Morrison and special friend, Winifred Williams of Brandon, SD, two sisters, Marjerie (Bill) Fahy of Brandon, SD, and Marsha Rolof of Abilene, TX; three brothers, Doug Morrison of Humboldt, SD, Dave (Lamara) Kuck of Parker, SD and Keith (Barbara) Kuck of Wapato, WA. Also surviving are five nieces, Elaine, Susan, Mary Ann, Billy Jo and Julie; nine nephews, Raymond, Jeremy, Curt, Jeff, Tony, Todd, Chuck, Tony and Kenneth; and a host of great-nieces and nephews.
Her mother, sisters, Pam and Lori and grandparents preceded Christal in death.
