Carolyn June (Damron) Reiners was born in Iowa on April 25, 1942 to parents Gene and Mary Damron, and passed away June 12, 2022 at Centerville Care and Rehab Center.

On July 7, 1964, Carolyn married Eugene Reiners in Yankton, SD. The couple lived in Vermillion, SD until making their home in Centerville, SD in 1971. After a house fire, Carolyn moved to Centerville Care & Rehab Center in July of 2019.

Carolyn enjoyed playing Bingo, attending rummage sales, and acquiring jewelry and stuffed animals. The greatest joy in Carolyn's life was spending time with her husband, Gene. Carolyn loved visiting with people, always had a smile on her face, and was a friend to everyone she met.

She is survived by her husband, Gene Reiners; sister, Patricia (Don) Wells of Roy, UT; sisters-in-law, Sharon (Jim) Smidt of Freeman, SD and Joyce Reiners of Hartford, SD, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents, Gene's parents, Otto and Frances Reiners, sister Donna Jean Damron, sisters-in-law Norma Friedrichs and Lois Reiners, brothers-in-law Robert Reiners and Jim Reiners, and niece Leanne.

Funeral service for Carolyn will be at 10AM Thursday, June 16 ^th at Wass Funeral Home in Centerville, SD with burial to follow at Riverview Cemetery. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to services at 9AM.
