Carl Clarence Linder, 90 of Beresford, SD died June 13, 2006 at Bethesda of Beresford. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 17th at Brooklyn Evangelical Free Church in rural Beresford. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Wass Funeral Home in Beresford. C. Clarence Linder was born July 24, 1915 in Lincoln County, SD to parents Carl and Effie (Anderson) Linder. He died June 13, 2006 in Beresford, SD at the age of 90 years, 10 months and nine days. Clarence was raised on the family farm and attended Pleasant country school and Beresford High School. He farmed northwest of Beresford all his life where he fed cattle and raised corn and soybeans. Clarence enjoyed singing; he sang with quartets and as a soloist for many years. He and his sister, Mary Helen had fun traveling together. Clarence liked horses and driving around Beresford checking out the town. Several cousins, nieces and nephews, and many friends survive Clarence. Preceding him in death were his parents and his sister.
