Brian Wesche died unexpectedly of natural causes in his home in Centerville, SD. He graduated from Watertown High School in 1979 and he attended Hutchinson Technical Institute where he completed a degree in graphic design. Brian worked with numerous printing companies in Sioux Falls and has been employed at Fireball Decals for the past 15 years.
He enjoyed trapping, hunting and hanging with his buds in his younger years and loved to camp with his three children up until his death. He loved every aspect of being a father; he was hands on, a very natural caretaker of his children- from cooking for them and attending their school events. He enjoyed golfing with his son, Lee; playing football and throwing the frisbee with his son, Jack; and loved visiting his daughter, Paige, and granddaughter, Lillian, in South Carolina. Brian was a truly loyal and devoted father and he was so very proud of his three kids and his new granddaughter, Lillian. Brian's home was the center point of all holidays and family gatherings, he made it warm and inviting and he was the glue that held his family together. Brian always had a fire going in his backyard so that friends in his community knew they were welcome to stop by for a beer and a few laughs. He also loved his Yellow Lab, Sandy; they had a special bond.
Brian is survived by his daughter, Paige (Wesche) Ness, her fiancée, Brian Schmidt, and his granddaughter, Lillian of Fort Mill, SC; and his two sons, Lee and Jackson Wesche of Centerville. Also surviving is his mother, Ina (Gappa) Wesche of Watertown; two sisters, Julie (Steve) Foerster of Brookings and Gretchen Wesche of Maple Grove, MN; brother, Bradley Wesche of Watertown; many cousins, particularly the Randy (Barb) Knudtson family of Sioux Falls; and many friends, too numerous to mention both in Watertown and Centerville.
His loving father, Rod Wesche; several aunts, uncles and cousins preceded him in death.
A celebration of Brian's full and meaningful life will be held at 1PM Saturday, June 22, 2019 at Wass Funeral Chapel, 400 Wisconsin Street, Centerville, SD. Memorials may be directed to the charity of your choice, an animal Humane Society, or directed to Paige Ness, 2190 Durand Road, Fort Mill, SC. 29715.
