Obituary
Berenice R. Jacobson, age 98 of St. Paul, MN died peacefully on August 17, 2010. She was a nurse, homemaker, world traveler, gifted crocheter and avid gardener.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, Curtis "Jake"; her parents and three siblings.
Berenice is survived by her children, Gordon (Fran), Donald (Katy Van Leur), and Mary Ann (Dennis) Brown; daughter in-law, Margaret; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; one sister and three exchange students. She is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation is 4-7 PM Thursday at O'Halloran & Murphy, 575 S. Snelling Ave., St. Paul. A Memorial Mass is 10AM Friday at Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church, Stanford at Prior Ave's. A Mass of Christian Burial is 10AM Saturday at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Centerville followed by interment at Riverview Cemetery, rural Centerville, SD.
The family would like to thank Dr. Giefer, his nurse Angie, Dr. Crabb, Dr. Ng of CA and the entire staff of St. Joe's Hospital for their loving care.
