Albert Muller was born June 17, 1926 in rural Turner County, SD to parents Henry and Lillian (Rogers) Muller.  He passed away on June 24, 2017 at the Alcester Care Center at the age of 91 years and 7 days.

Albert met the love of his life, Rosa, while working for some of her neighbors in Union County.  They were married July 30, 1949.  Albert farmed for 15 years.  He owned his own trucking company and did custom trucking.  He later drove trucks cross country, retiring in 2006 at the age of 80.  Albert and Rosa moved to Alcester in 1966 and have lived here until the present time.  Albert enjoyed tinkering and fixing things and camping with his family.  He had a great sense of humor and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his loving wife Rosa; son Doug (Tina) Muller; daughter Kathy (Chuck) Henning; five grandchildren, Adam, Mindee, Rachel, Roy and Nathan; 7 great grandchildren; sister Dorothy (Glen) Earl; sisters-in-law Veronica Muller and Joyce Muller; and many other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his two brothers, William "Bill" and Donald; and his sister Charlotte.
