Adam Kvigne

Adam Kvigne, age 43, of Brooklyn, New York, formerly of Beresford, South Dakota died August 15, 2026. A celebration of Adam’s life will be from 1-4PM Saturday, September 12, 2026 at Wass Funeral Home, 301 N 3rd Street, Beresford, SD 57004.

Adam was born September 27, 1982 in Viborg, SD to Dwight and Wanda (Wiebers) Kvigne. He was raised in Beresford and graduated from Beresford High School in 2001. Adam received his Bachelors of Science degree from St. Cloud State University. Through a mutual friend he met Jillian Vaccarella; together they moved to Brooklyn, NY in 2015.

While in New York Adam was employed by Schulman and Schachne from January 2017 until December 2025. He was then employed by Long Island Railroad from January 2026 until the present.

Adam was an avid baseball fan, the A’s were his favorite team. Adam traveled to see a game at all of the Major League Baseball parks. He also loved to attend professional hockey games. Adam’s newest love, besides his special friend Jill, was his niece, Madelyn. Born four years ago, he doted over her, sending numerous gifts and always calling to see how she was doing.

Grateful for having shared his life is his special friend, Jill of Brooklyn, NY; his parents, Dwight and Wanda Kvigne of Beresford; his sister and her husband, Samantha (Corey) Etter of Sioux Falls and his niece, Madelyn.
